Dear Sir/Madam,
If you got an email saying that you had a free membership but you did not have any charge done by our company on your bank account, it may mean that someone else has a similar email and he/she typed his/her email wrong during the registration and entered yours.
During the registration process we always charge 1 USD to check that the card is valid and operational so, if you received that email but you were not charged 1 USD on your card/bank account, it means only your email was registered by mistake but not your card.

I got an e-mail saying I had a free membership and if I didn't cancel I would automatically be billed. I had never even heard of the company nor do I have any clue how they got my email and if they actually had my banking info.

I immediately cancelled my debit card and went on their website and cancelled my alleged membership.

Luckily I didn't receive any charges though. At least not so far
